PLEASE NOTE NEW NCSG MEETING LOCATION

NCSG sponsors three information meetings in February, April/May, and September/October. NCSG also hosts a holiday potluck or dining event the first Saturday in December, as well as a Summer Potluck Picnic get-together. The general meetings feature a local or national speaker or event that addresses current issues and topics related to celiac disease, including celiac authors, researchers, clinicians and medical advisers. Our members are also a great resource at every meeting as we share our experiences in cooking, eating out, and shopping. At the meetings, members are asked to contribute a gluten-free snack to share. Beverages are provided.

NCSG will be sponsoring 5 gluten free baking categories in the Creative Activities competitions this summer. These categories include:

Category 1100    Quick Bread or Muffins (4)
Category 1101    Crackers, Pretzels or Snacks
Category 1102    Cookies or Bars
Category 1103    Cake(1)
Category 1104    Yeast Breads

Pre-registration is required by 4:30p.m., Tuesday, August 7th. Entries must be delivered on the west side of Creative Activities building between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 am. on Sunday, August 19th and should be in disposable container (they will not be returned). Recipes must be typed on one side of paper and brought in with submitted entry including name, address, and telephone number on reverse side of paper. Meeting Information:

• All Meetings are generally from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., unless stated otherwise.
• All meetings are open to NCSG members and their guests
• Please bring a gluten-free snack to share, along with the recipe. The recipe should include all ingredients, as some people have additional intolerances. The recipe should also state it's source, unless the recipe is either original or has been changed at least 3 times. Recipes are published in the NCSG Newsletter as space permits.
• Non-members are welcome to attend after payment of an $8.00/meeting fee.
